DENTISTRY – TRANSFER PROGRAM
Associate of Science – 2 years
The courses listed below represent the most common courses required before admission to a school or college of dentistry; however, the
requirements for admission to every dental program vary. It is important to check with your advisor as well as the potential schools of transfer
for specific courses needed before admission.
A student may apply to a school/college of dentistry once the school’s program admission requirements are met, which typically includes a
qualifying score on the Dental Admission Test (DAT). Admission to a school/college of dentistry is very competitive. Although it may take
only 2-3 years to complete the admission requirements, the trend is for accepted applicants to complete a Bachelor’s degree before entering the
professional school.
