POLICY OF COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL LAW AND NONDISCRIMINATION
1.
It is the policy of Gogebic Community College that no persons on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, sex, marital status, disability,
political affiliation or belief shall be discriminated against, excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in any
program or activity for which the college is responsible or for which it received federal financial assistance from the Department of Education.

It shall continue to be the policy of this school district to make all employment decisions in a nondiscriminatory manner. No decision as to hiring, assignment,

disability, political affiliation or belief. Equal pay shall be given for the performance of jobs requiring equal skill, effort and responsibilities.

Gogebic Community College offers vocational education programs that are designed to prepare students for a broad range of employment opportunities.
